MobiliSafe™ App Privacy Policy

InterMotive, Inc. designed the MobiliSafe™ app as a professional tool for vehicle safety monitoring. This service is provided by InterMotive, Inc. at no cost to the end user and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when using our service.

Required Background Location Access

MobiliSafe collects location data to enable live telematics and wheelchair position monitoring even when the app is closed or not in use. This background access is essential for dispatchers to monitor the real-time status of wheelchair positions on buses and vans to ensure occupant safety and provide timely emergency response. This data is only used for operational safety and is never shared for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Log Data

Whenever you use our service, in the case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your device called Log Data. This may include your IP address, device name, OS version, and usage statistics to help us improve the reliability of the safety monitoring system.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our service, perform service-related tasks, or assist us in analyzing usage. These third parties have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information. We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

These services do not address anyone under the age of 13. InterMotive, Inc. does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover a child has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it from our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

MobiliSafe™ App Terms and Conditions

By downloading or using the MobiliSafe™ app, these terms will automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the app. The app itself, and all trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights related to it, belong to InterMotive, Inc.

You are not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You are not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn't try to translate the app into other languages, or make derivative versions.

Operational Responsibility

InterMotive, Inc. is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. However, the app requires an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) to send telematics data to dispatch. InterMotive, Inc. cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if the device has no data access or battery.

Data Charges

Please be aware that the terms of agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. You may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app. By using the app, you accept responsibility for any such charges.

Service Termination

We may wish to stop providing the app and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end, and you must stop using the app and delete it from your device.
